How about that logic? I mean, there are pedophiles in EVERY profession, from medicine to teaching to lawn mowers and etc. Therefore, we should just avoid everything because, according to my logic, there are pedophiles in every profession. Just become an agoraphobic and stay inside your house, everyone, since there are pedophiles out there in EVERY profession.
Also, I just LOVE the way that some people (especially of a certain political and/or religious persuasion) just LOVE to trash Catholicism because SOME (although in my opinion it is rare) priests are pedophiles.

No. The AMA, NEA and the national association of lawn mower repair men are not putting their members forward as a moral pillar in the community. Someone to be looked up to as a source of morality and moral behavior. They are not setting up establishments in every community advertising that they are a source for the communities moral compass. And that the community should give them money and special favors for providing that moral direction. Also, the AMA, NEA and the national association of lawn mower repair men, once a ped member is identified, do not go out of their way to hide them and deny that the ped acts ever happened. They don't send them off to another community with no treatment hoping that the ped act will not happen again.
