Horticulturalists have been talking about plants "walking" over to a spot they prefer for a long time. Apparently it's only you non greenies that don't know about this.

But really, the thing that makes trees so goddamn creepy in horror movies, or even Lord of the Rings, is them moving quickly when they're so slow to shift in real life.

Also, it's not the onions you need to worry about. It's Kudzu. That stuff can grow a foot per day. It's taken over most of the south. Leave the children, run away!
