yeah. but the father is not a human, and heaven is a perpetual eternal reality.

there is absolutely no reference to God watching from the sky. that is a baseless atheist assertion.
I am not even defending religion here. I am simply not an idiot who says 'sky daddy' every time my brain short circuits, and leaves me confounded by religious ideas, leaving me to say, "I do not understand, but I choose negatory. because I am an incoherent putz."
I, choose cult. LOL

ahahahah.
and you do not appear not stupid to anyone. Atheists just love laughing at how stupid you are, when it annoys people they don't understand. But they merely understand you're stupid, so they love you for it.

Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Isiah 40:26
Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven: John 17:1
I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God: Isaiah 14:13

the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God: Luke 3:38

These are not words from atheists.

Has your therapist warned you about indulging in your delusions and how that behavior might have a negative effect?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Could be in the Bible. Would improve it a little, though the Bible is already pretty badass.

Dude, I told you it was a figure of speech.  Have you not seent the very many X-tian depictions of God in the clouds?  It's a metaphor for a God who watches over individual people, as opposed to an impersonal universe-creating Deity.

You seem to be projecting some pretty strange opinions onto me.  If it makes you feel better to do that, that's fine.  But at some point, you're going to have to STATE SOMETHING, and support it.  And if you are going to state ANY kind of God idea, you are going to get wrecked, because it's such a baseless idea.

Wow I have learned something today thanks  Smile

I was under the impression that the xtian God was everywhere so could watch from everywhere .... So OK I'll cross off the Sky .... anywhere else he can't watch from?
Religion is the top shelf of the supernatural supermarket ... Madog

Unless, of course, incoherency is the point.... a' la discussions of skepticism regarding the veritable mis-mash of "Truth" claims.

But no one is oblivious to their own incoherency, Nor is anyone ignorant to anyone else's incoherency. Often it is that people simply preference the product of incoherent bigotry, and support the bigots for self promotion.
People most often have biased, incoherent perspectives and opinions about religion, and this is obvious in the way that they attack or manipulate the nature of comments, scriptures and facts.

I hope this prompts a productive conversation.

Little late to the party here, OP...but this last bit, seems to be how we roll.  Not rational, rationalizers.  Sure, it may apply to bigotry, but it also applies to the "good" things about us.  Human life is full of incoherence and inconsistency.  It's just who we are. People do have biased and incoherent perspectives and opinions about religion...religious people more publicly than irreligious people.

I have a biased and incoherent perspective myself. I think that religion is a scourge, but I like the stories so much that I can't stand to let the religious butcher them without opposition.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
