Depends on how old you are, what you observed and how interested you are in human history. Otherwise it should be obvious. From sheer observation.

I read your whole post. You either made the mistake of referring to some population or other by their religion or you were genuinely talking about the plight of people insofar as they are religious. Well guess what, if they have it bad because of a religion maybe they should leave the damn religion. Seems simple enough.

Dude, you need to read some 20th century history.  The populations I'm talking about weren't mistreated because there was anything particularly wrong with their religions.  The Western powers, for example, inserted the Jews into Israel after WWII.  The problem was, there were Muslims already living there who didn't particularly want one of their holiest cities taken from them in this way.

This intrusion by Western powers is the sole, and entire, reason for all the wars, the killings, the hatred of the US, the terrorism-- all of it.  It's not like the Muslims just happen to hate the Jews because of differences in scripture or something.  They hate the fact that Jews were given their land, that Israel is supported by Western powers, especially the US, who aren't really supposed to have any political claim in the Middle East, and the fact that every small attack made by Palestinians is met by missile barrages, helicopter gunship attacks, etc. from Israel.  They hate the fact that Israel keeps instigating fights that break ceasefires, then using this an excuse to colonize parts of Palestine.

"Stop being Muslim" isn't a very good solution to this very real political problem.

Somehow, who knows how, we manage not to go full jihad on account of it.

OFC, this tip of the hat, entirely common in the US today (and, indeed, the world)..regarding palestine and isreal..won't make you any less of a secret jew to those muslims. Don't take my word for it, ask Harris. Don't imagine that he's a tiny vocal minority either. This evil jewspiracy shit has been elevated to the status of a state sanctioned truth, in some parts of the world. The kind of tradition you pass on to your kids, like any good and decent person would, and ..in fact, should.

As are some christians, jews or white supremacists for that matter. As I always keep saying, it's just a very thin layer of functional societies and sanctions keeping them in check. But that it can get as ugly with christians, just to give the most obvious example, has been shown during the Lebanese civil war of old. The christian militias were among the most savage groups there. Not to speak of more recent incidents such as Brejvik, who still considers himself a christian warrior.

And with the current climate in Israel and the parties being in power, keeping their radicals in check gets more and more difficult. At least in certain districts of Jerusalem and settlements where the religious nutters have more or less taken over. To the detriment of the normal population.

Anti-semitism has a long and noble history.  It didn't start with isreal...the white colonials who ran roughshod over the middle east fostered anti-semitism from the word go. The arab nazi powers didn't have to build the groundwork, it was already there...waiting. Our boy here, for example...is parroting the lines and lies of colonial overlords of old, to the letter...without even realizing it. If he did realize it, he might think that he sounded like a jew or a cuck or wtf it is he thinks this all comes from.

Sure, the modern state has aggravated things immensely, but lets not forget that they;ve been under fire since their inception...and that those nazi collaberators lost their lands and dignity, ultimately, due to picking the wrong horse in WW2... because they were fucking anti-semites.

It's a problem within the left in the UK too. Anti-semitism found a home in the trade unions and far left 100 years ago and the recent antics with Corbyn have brought to the fore just how much hatred there is for Jews within Labour's ranks.

It's just a whole horrible mess.

Being under duress tends to bring out the lunacy.  I think it's reasonably clear that if America had stayed out of the Middle East, and hadn't supported Israel for no reason that's really important to American well-being, that lunacy wouldn't have been directed at the US.  The same goes for France and Britain, who all have a history of meddling in the Middle East, with all the raping and pillaging that traditionally have gone along with occupation.

So yeah, some Muslims are loons.  But their targets are pretty fairly set.
