Again, The Orange Baboon

RE: Again, The Orange Baboon
Ah.  Okay.

Then you are only up against the election laws in the various states which seem written to enshrine exactly that.  That's a big enough nut to overcome and the third party "wave" will recede after the election and not be thought of again until 4 years from now.  Therein lies the problem.  These two alleged 3d parties are not viable.

Meanwhile, announced today.

Quote: In a normal election season, this announcement wouldn't matter much.
But this year Johnson, the Libertarian Party nominee, and Jill Stein, the Green Party contender, are both hoping to make the cut.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the only two definite participants, since they are polling well above the commission's 15% threshold for invitations.
Johnson and Stein are below the threshold and are trying to change that between now and mid-September. That's when the commission's "selection criteria" will be applied.
On Monday, the commission announced the five polls that will be averaged together to determine who is receiving 15% support nationwide.
The polls are ABC-Washington Post; CBS-New York Times; CNN-Opinion Research Corporation; Fox News; and NBC-Wall Street Journal.

Yeah, it's certainly a long-haul struggle ... one reason I have no argument with your critique of Bernieheads. Big ships take a long time to turn.

It seems as if most of them are coming to their senses.  But that isn't enough.  If they want the Democratic Party to change THEY have to start changing it.

Meanwhile....this fucking thief has the balls to call someone else "crooked."

Meanwhile, DJT was posting losses every year and investors were being decimated.
Filings show that someone who invested $100 in DJT in 1995 would have lost 90% of their money by 2000 -- and been left with just $8.72.

Yes, being involved is the only way to exert change. It's a long, hard slog.

I'm too old for that slog.  But if Bernie had won I'd have voted for him.

Interesting event.

What early voting means.

Quote:With Early Voting, Trump's Back Is Already Against The Wall.

35 states and the D of C have early voting.

Quote:There are 35 states and the District of Columbia that permit voters to cast ballots at polls or by email prior to November 8th. Those states include Minnesota and South Dakota (Sept 23), Ohio (October 4) and Arizona (Oct 12th). North Carolina and Florida start their voting in late October.

I'll be looking for my ballot on Oct. 12th.  HIllary will have a 2-0 lead in Errorzona!

I know. But dissuading others from undertaking it ... that's pretty much defending the status quo.

Bernie ran as a democrat.  Big difference.

Well the choice in the USA is between the Libertarians who've a far right republican running as their presidential candidate and their party slogan may as well be "we're following the same policies as the Republicans on LOUDER AND STUPIDER!!!!!" and the Greens whose slogan seems to have degenerated into "Vaccines give you autism, Wakefield is the greetest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!1!!1!1!11!1!11!1ONEONEONOENOENELEVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I like trees too but there is more to running a country than hugging them.
