LAS VEGAS — Donald J. Trump has shaken up his presidential campaign for the second time in two months, hiring a top executive from the conservative Breitbart News and promoting a senior adviser in an effort to right his faltering campaign.

Stephen Bannon, the executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, will become the Republican campaign’s chief executive, and Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser and pollster for Mr. Trump and his running mate, Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, will become the campaign manager.

Brilliant! He has a 1% approval rating among black voters according to polls. His numbers among Latinos are in the toilet, as are his numbers among women. Relatively better educated voters are against him by wide margins. And he is losing support among important people within his own party. The solution? Bring on the asshole from Breitbart so you can further shore up your support among the idiots and conspiracy nuts?!?

Yes, I did forget. 19%. Stunning.

On a side note, my Asian-American wife, who is about as apolitical as they come, loathes Trump so much that she has actually registered to vote for the first time in her life. When you can rile up Momma enough to get her to register, you've really done something wrong.

The New York Daily News reported Wednesday that a Public Policy Polling survey of Texas voters showed Stein and Harambe winning less than two percent of registered voters, while “Deez Nuts” — a creation of Iowa teen Brady Olson — garnered 3 percent of voters.
