I will give credit to Miami Beach, though, for not ignoring climate change. They are investing hundreds of millions in infrastructure to keep the rising sea levels from encroaching on the city. There are few if any climate change deniers in that city. Also, protecting their massive tourist industry is a concern, I'm sure.

Eradicate mosquitos? Absolutely. Followed by spiders, snakes, and pesky Catholics.
Perhaps if we put a bounty on them we can expedite the process. 
Mosquitoes, Pomeranians, potato bugs, and the French.
What's the alternative? Capture them and rehabilitate them?
