Yes, it is. Exude your emotions, happy or sad, brilliant or dull, bright or dark -- and the only way those emotions aren't contagious is if someone else nearby has a stronger personality.

I think it is but it has it's limits. Sometimes overly happy people irritate me. One customer is so over the top happy it is like she is on drugs. I don't like her lol. But when someone is truly happy for a good reason it usually makes me smile. On the other hand anger and irritation is also easily spread.
