Decriminalizing drug use is not the same as legalizing drugs. One is great for all drugs...one is entirely not.

I still think they should be legalized for adults. I'm sorry if I got the impression someone else agreed with me on that point.
It's no one's business what I do with my own life. Your bulleted items aren't necessarily untrue, but lack the perspective of degree. Befriend a heroin addict and see if alcohol, tobacco and caffeine still register equivalent effects. The line of reasoning is unconvincing. I realized it may have been a careless comparison. I was thinking very broadly, recreational substances that can cause negative effects...I wasn't thinking about the levels of severity. Oh I was just responding to the op and happened to be after you. M I don't think the sale of hardcore drugs should be legalized. I do think the use should be decriminalized
I'm im the Uk . I'll just ignore the bit of the op where it says USA specifically and join in the convo anyway.
Weed should definitely be legal, it's annoying that so much money is spent hiring people to chase down people who sell it and smoke it. I don't know about hard drugs. If people want to get hard drugs they will get hard drugs, even in countries where drug dealers get killed like in the Philippines it doesn't stop people. So why not just legalise them? On the other hand selling addictive substances to people who might be vulnerable to addiction and psychological problems is immoral. So I'm pretty much stuck on that question, I don't know. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Legalise everything.
When people OD, let Odin sort them out. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???" I'm not really on-board with legalizing shit like meth etc.
