What it does show is that Trump is just another rich taker that does less than zero for our society. It's not asinine at all. At least that terrible awful Hillary did her part and paid 31%.
If you'll remember the backlash (IMO rightful) Mitt Romney got when he released his taxes and it showed that he paid an effective tax rate of something around 14%. Trump not paying anything for decades should make people pissed as hell (legal or not). He makes Mitt look like a stand up guy.
My guess is that he probably gives as much to charity as he pays in taxes. How the fuck does his ability to dodge taxes help the US economy. Idiot people who think our national debt is caused from headstart, food stamps, planned parenthood, or low income housing assistance... Ugh.... How does the business acumen of The Donald being able to doge taxes help the US economy going forward?
He's legally getting away sticking the bills to the rest of the US citizens. He's not alone... But most people can smell bullshit when "Rich" people don't do their fare share.

They pretty much created the Libertarian party and continue to bankroll it. The LP doesn't have big money. It operates on a shoestring easily accounted for with thousands of individual donations, and a large portion of the money it does have goes to getting ballot access. You've essentially presented a conspiracy theory. The Koch brothers haven't lent the LP any real support in decades.
It doesn't get them anything. LP candidates tend to draw equally from liberal and conservative votes. They are against corporate subsidies. There's no percentage in it for the Koch brothers, and that's the only thing they care about.

To say that there's no percentage in libertarian policies for big business (koch merely being one example of the demographic), is, I think, a stretch. Isn;t that one of the things that they proudly claim to possess? They are good for business, right? Having two options that are good for business (as they see it) and one option that isn't (as they see it) is a blunt skewering of potential outcomes in one's favor. Doesn't take a conspiracy, just brute force of numbers.
In any case, the LP doesn;t get the support that the other parties do, that's for sure. They won;t, until someone can show those backers how to monetize their policies - and no, not in the direct and obvious way in which those policies are communicated, lol. For example, if getting rid of the doe beacme a liberatrian policy (and boy it;s a fan favorite, aint it) then private schools would be more profitable than they already are..should the LP be ensconced as a power player. "School choice" would be the name of the LP sponsored bill...but it;s use would be in backhanded private school subsidies. Now, right now, not only dos the LP not possess any significant political power, their policies offer no novel modification of that business model, and the religious right have a better pretext for their private schools..so if you were an interested backer, specifically in that industry, who would you give -your- money too?
Or, as we might call it...business as usual.
