Favourite Semi-Obscure Music

Ever been humming or singing softly to yourself when someone overhears you and asks what it is and then you tell them and they say, 'Never heard of it' and you have to launch into an explanation of either the song or the artist, all the while thinking to yourself, 'What kind of rock has this culturally deprived goon been living under that they are so sadly, woefully ignorant of music that I like?' and wishing desperately that you were somewhere - anywhere - else, preferably a place where run-on sentences like this one are outlawed by decent-thinking people?
