Favourite Semi-Obscure Music

RE: Favourite Semi-Obscure Music
Yes! I have seen that one. TBH, I am not sold on live music. There are so many ways to mess it up. But KEXP has some great live in studio performances.

One of the few contenders for Orbital's Halcyon On + On for me.... Out There Somewhere? Also by Orbital.

Live version even better than on the album.

This one is from the exact Orbital performance I was at... I managed to see them once before they disbanded again:

Sadly they are said to be disbanded permanently this time. I would have seen every single performance since they returned if I could have, but my family could not afford for me to see them more than once.

At least I saw them before they disbanded again!

I wanna see Paul Hartnoll live when I can. I've seen Steven Wilson twice and Riverside once! Big Grin

This is why I like Orbital, Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson, Paul Hartnoll and Riverside so much. They're all so utterly, utterly incredible live.

I had the opportunity to watch NZ's The Naked and Famous last week, but had to back out. Looks like they do well live, as well.

(For those who don't know: Orbital, William Orbit and The Orb are all completely unrelated and fully separate music artists).
