I see perfectly well what is happening here, if we are being blunt. No other member than me, in principle, is expected to be banned as a result of it.

Given the amount of crucial information apparently missing from this rule's body, despite its mere absence from there being misleading, I'm sure you will find a reason to ban me that isn't explicitly stated in that rule and then rectify it accordingly. Seems like a lot of trouble to go to in order to covertly induce one member in error to then be able to ban them, if you ask me, but whatever swells you people's senses of greatness, I suppose.

We don't ban members retroactively. Instead, when we see posts that we think should be against the rules, we adjust the rules so we have justification for future punishments.

The wording of the rule only seems to be objectionable to you so far. I think it's pretty clear what is and what isn't covered. There's nothing preventing you from disclosing information about your family providing it isn't personally identifiable.

I wasn't talking about retroactive banning. SC's comment that this rule change was exclusively because of me, or something along those lines, alerted me, however.

What about describing one's relationship and even going into details as long as no personally identifiable information is disclosed?...

Saying "my cousin Carl is dating this horrid woman and I can't stand her" isn't personally identifiable information about a private life or relationship. Saying "Steel Curtain is dating a horrid woman and I can't stand her." Is revealing personally indentifiable information about a private life or relationship because everyone does know who Steel Curtain is. That's my take on it at least. Now if you said my cousin D. J. Toodlefucks and actually linked your cousins Facebook so everyone would know who he was then that would be doxxing.
