Trump states transgenders can...

RE: Trump states transgenders can...
And what does Pence say? Also, remind me again what Trump was saying about LGBT rights and state rights. Something about reversing the federal ruling on gay marriage and giving the decision to the states...

When has a president ever truly come through with what he promised during his campaign?

So then the original point of the topic here is just as pointless then. Got it.

The point is that the Trumpeters were voting for a man they thought would represent their bigoted interests, but now they are learning that he will do his own thing that actually benefits the country.

And my point is that he has sent very mixed messages. One message clearly contradicts the other, hence my fear of what he may do. Never mind Trump, though. The problem I really have is with Pence, who has never contradicted himself. He has a fine track record of everything anti-LGBT and now he has a seat to enforce that more widely than before. If anyone says that the VP can't do much, all I have to do is look back at Cheney.

Pence is the VP, Trump will tell him to shut the fuck up and do what Trump wants.

I'm not counting on that, personally. Like I said, the VP position has had plenty of power in the past. Him just being there is terrifying.

As best I can tell, what Pence has to say is of no interest to Trump.  (Might be the only thing I share with the orange-utan.)

I mean, maybe he'll change his mind, but I doubt it. Trump campaigned on lots of issues, but reversing gay marriage and enacting bathroom legislation weren't two of them as far as I recall.
And he's going to break his supporters' heart many, many times in the next few years. If he's not fired first.
