However, I am still wishing to somewhat hold on to it and am very open-minded when it comes to religion. I don't pretend to know all of the answers. I realize this isn't a therapy forum. Nevertheless, for quite a log time, I have had symptoms of OCD, and that may be a factor of this, but ever since maybe a day or two ago, I've been questioning morals, and I know they're obviously highly important, but I'm rambling. It's like I' subconsciously telling myself, "Well, what if we don't need them?" I had then started question specific ethics, such as murder, etc. and I try to calm myself down but that doesn't really work out.

Anyways, I'm glad to be a part of a new community. Thanks in advance.

And you were undoubtedly a scripture cherry picker, bible buffet, fair weather Christian type, so your experience here would have been me going jihad on your slacker ass all the time anyhow.

You'll have a better time  here this way.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Questioning the reliability of morals, I guess. Kind of sort of.

Thanks a bunch. Great to be here.

Which morals?

The prevailing view here is that morals are subjective. I, personally, define as morallly right those things that create and sustain human wellbeing and morally wrong those that create suffering. I try to navigate the world with that in mind, generally speaking.

I like Zeus's morals. He got to fuck everything, guilt free. All Yahweh got was a teenage jewish princess . . .
