intelligence didn't convince bush and his lackeys to invade Iraq they were already looking for a reason and cherry picked intel to suit there agenda while ignoring the fact there was serious doubt on the subject just like they ignored the fact intel already kind of knew 911 was coming

Tu quoque is shitty reasoning, you know that, Cato. And after a year-and-a-half under Bush, what could you expect? And you're ignoring the fact that Joe Wilson cried "foul" and got shouted down, precisely because he spoke out against a clear item on the agenda.
And after a year-and-a-half under Donald "You're Fired" Trump, do you expect any different?

Oh, Joe got more than shouted down. As you well know, his wife was outed as a CIA operative, an act of treason as far as I'm concerned.

His firm supporters will forgive him anything. He could launch a joint USA/Russian invasion of India and they'd eat it up.

Yup, Karl Rove should be in jail.
As for those intelligence reports convincing everyone of WMD's, it's well known that the administration was already looking for a reason to tackle Iraq, so I'm willing to bet that there was a lot in those intelligence reports contradicting that narrative. I guarantee you Cheney and his minions only used what helped them sell the story and discarded the rest.
It wasn't a failure of intelligence reports. It was the failure of the American people and their politicians to see they were being sold an obvious pile of bullshit. Everyone was so blinded by blood-lust and unthinking patriotism after 9/11 that the Bush administration basically had carte blanche to whatever they wanted. It turned out that was invading Iraq.

It was meant as a joke, not defending the idiocy of not wanting intelligence briefings.

Of all the things to come out of Trump being elected, improved relations with Russia are by far the best, perhaps the only positive thing to come out of his being elected. The aggressive language and admitted personal vendetta that Hillary Clinton had towards Russia and Putin was scary. It is a GOOD thing that we get along with the second largest nuclear power. Considering that Hillary made nuclear war a subject in the campaign, any improved relations should be seen as a good {thing. Of course Democrats would be saying the same thing if it were Bernie Sanders improving the relations with Russia, as he would probably have done as well.
As for the hacking, it wouldn't have mattered if she had been hacked if she didn't have a bunch of shady shit that she was hiding from the American people everything that was hacked, we should be entitled to know anyway. Only career politicians can think that it's okay spy on American people, that it's treason to reveal that information, as Hillary said about Snowden, and that the Americans aren't entitled to know anything about what you are doing and saying behind the scenes.

Define everyone.
Not even Powell was convinced, as he later admitted. To his credit I may say. But outside the Bush administration and some bootlickers abroad, like Aznar or Blair, none of the major nations were convinced by what Shrub threw at them. Most famously Joschka Fischer, then minister of foreign affairs of Germany.

Just how good of a relationship should we have with a dictator that controls the press and murders dissenters? How good of a relationship should we have with a country this actively aiding another dictator that murdered tens of thousand civilians and used chemical weapons? How good of a relationship should we have with a country that very likely hacked our government's systems and waged a campaign of spreading fake news to manipulate our election?
Many countries have sanctions on them for a reason, and it's hard for me to call our president-elect getting buddy buddy with Russia for financial gain as a positive.
