Hey There Atheist Forum,
My name is Will, but here you can call me that or camlov. I'm simply introducing myself here. I view myself as a Gnostic Atheist, someone who doesn't believe in a deity, and is certain that all available evidence points against it. I used to be an Agnostic Theist (raised in baptism), as I did that for about a year before developing my current views. Speaking of that, I've been an atheist for about a year and a half. I believe in secular morality and that, although many people will argue that it's not true, America is not a truly secular nation. We may not have a dictating theological figure, but the Christian faith has so much influence on politics. I also see myself as a humanist, and subscribe to the philosophy "Do whatever you wish as long as it's within moral grounds and leads to no harm to others." When I say this, I refer to equal marriage, job pursuit, etc. Thank you all for reading this, I'll be around if anyone wishes to talk about philosophy, religion, or politics.
Thanks!
,
Will

Paul was a misogynist: A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 1st Timothy 2:11-13
