Questions about Debate
January 6, 2017 at 3:31 pm
Hello all.
I'm new here ( and perhaps I didn't spend enough time searching) and I can't seem to locate a formal debate category.
Do you have one?
If I wished to debate a topic with a theist with formal rules and a regulator could I do that?
How might I go about that?
Who would choose the debate subject?
I would also like to read some if you have them somewhere.
Thank you all.
God

Is God willing to spot the debate forum, but not able? Then he is not online.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is disinterested.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh his debate request?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Epicurus would pat you on the head and give you a lolly for that.

It would be cool to have one, they are very rare. I've only witnessed one, or possibly two, since I've been here.
I'd like to do one sometime.

That's because any debate about god is stillborn.

Lately they seem to be stillborn over disagreement on particulars of the debate format, someone gets caught plagiarizing, or.. well I could go on. Suffice it to say we haven't had a successful one in some time.
