Donald Trump's Twitter

Not so much that other nations will see him as an easier mark, some will, but the climate of instability and fear can lead to real conflict. They all paint him collectively as unfit. He is not a left or right or economic issue, his on TV repeated pattern of attacks, either blaming others or pawning it off as a "joke" combined with his inability to understand Twitter is not the place for a politician to have public fights with intel or try to solve global diplomacy in 140 characters, all of it collectively adds up to an inept and dangerous individual who really has no clue what he is doing. If it were only that Tweet, you could make that argument. Just like while Mitt's 47% comment got him in trouble briefly, it was not a repeated pattern. Trump not only makes stupid comments about actors and media, but everyone and not just on Twitter. It is a repeated behavior which is demonstrating how dangerous his lack of a filter as a politician is. His act might be good for ratings on cable TV but he is not a TV show star now, this is real life and this is no game. That idiot really is treating all this as some game. RE: Donald Trump's Twitter

Yeah. However, these folks overseas are very rarely dealing directly with the president, unless in rare circumstances. Where it counts, our diplomats will be handling things. I'm not certain we'll get it right, but I doubt the people in charge elsewhere are stupid enough to believe Trump will have complete control over anything. For right now, all we can do is crack jokes at him and make efforts to curb the traction his comments gain with his followers. Quote:If it were only that tweet, you could make that argument. I can still make this comment. I'm laughing about individual tweets here. This isn't a debate thread about how imbecilic his tweets are. It's about laughing at the ones that are funny. If you don't find any of them funny, then this just isn't for you. That's fine. I'm here to laugh off a shitty week, not debate about whether the PEOTUS' tweets are objectively funny. Listen, I hate him as much as the next person with half a brain. That's just not what this particular thread is about. There are plenty of threads about him being a complete fucking moron with a dangerous mouth. We can chat about it there when I'm in a serious forum. This is the humor forum.
I'm sure this is plenty funny, but I'm not going to make a Twitter account just for him.
I think everyone sane on Twitter should bombard his thin skin, but not just there, everywhere. That asshole needs to have his ego put in check before he gets us all killed.
Humor transcends all. If you can't laugh in this fucked up world what can ya do? Masturbate yourself to death? Oh wait I already do that. Carry on.

Not just humor, or just condemnation, but BOTH. Ridicule and satire and blasphemy are necessary in a free society. But when you see the clear attempts at political demagoguery, that is where the gloves verbally have to come off with the strongest condemnation. Some here and elsewhere, not just this website, may be deluding themselves thinking our system will automatically protect us. NO, again, when Hitler first started making noise and getting attention, their democracy was still in tact. It took years for him to consolidate power and destroy it. I really do warn people not to say I am over reacting. I am not. It doesn't even have to be him to be the one who finally destroys it, but if more politicians see his dirty tactic as a way to win, that growing tactic as a long term tactic most certainly can. It is only our vigilance that can prevent that. I'd take Trump very seriously, both in ridiculing him making fun of him and condemning him. Not to silence dissent ourselves, but to prevent a very dark road from happening.
TL;DR
Sorry Brian but I came to this thread for the funnies.
It's too bad there isn't a way to capture the expressions on the faces of GOP leaders whenever they read or hear about his latest tweet. We're less than two weeks away from having a snapping turtle with a hair-trigger temper and neither a mental filter nor a sense of self-awareness sworn in to the highest office in the nation. If the biggest disaster of his presidency is that he occasionally shits his pants on Twitter it will be a miracle.
PS- I am not expecting a miracle.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
