Quote:Michigan Republican trashes Trump to calm town hall crowd angered by Obamacare repeal
The scary part of the article is this:

Quote:“Do you or do you not support the immediate repeal of the Affordable Care Act with or without a replacement?” one attendee asked.

Amash told the constituent that he expected state governments to come up with a replacement for the health care reform law — and the crowd erupted in anger.

I wonder if the republicunt fucktards in Michigan will exempt coverage for lead poisoning?

I just don't get why these fools aren't wanting to work on the current one to make it better. Oh wait, they want to erase everything Obama did because he was...well....BLACK!!! I imagine the GOP version of health care reform will be a huge disaster and many will be screwed over by it. But I'm sure the idiotic Trump base will say it's the best thing ever.

Yeah, Republicans are basically against what was their own idea a few decades ago. I don't understand why "insurance pools" would be helpful. I loved watching Trump get grilled during the Republican debates about what his plan is and alll he could say was " We'll get rid of the lines across the states " (which would just result in them all going to wherever the taxes are lowest) and later "There will be many plans."

I doubt much of whatever arises comes from Trump. He'll probably lean on others, who, although they also have little useful knowledge on the subject, have more experience in politics and spooning bull feces into peoples mouths.

The GOP are the same fuckers who are going to cut the Violence Against Women Grants. So I can imagine their healthcare plan will just be "DON'T GET SICK!"

What a coincidence! $850 was how much one of my medications costed me before I was covered under the ACA! I'd tell you how much my kidney biopsies costed, but I wouldn't want you to have a heart attack with no insurance.

If the American people weren't hung up on the idea of "LITERALLY ANYTHING GOVERNMENT IS SOCIALISM" I guarantee the majority would support a single-payer healthcare system.

That's because you can afford it. It is affordable.

My daughter couldn't get insurance before the ACA. If they repeal, and she loses her insurance, I will lose my shit. Might take it out on some fuckers.
