RE: Testimony
Would much rather relax and enjoy what this life has to offer than get all psychologically twisted and end up not experiencing anything....

Religion has much to offer the Mental health services ...or should that be CHARGED for the resultant mental health services by government??? Devil

RE: Testimony
Just to shoot the story out of the sky, I was christian and religion almost drove me to suicide out of desperation(along with drugs, etc), and it was only after I was a solid atheist that I managed to rationalize over my life and get up on my feet.

Oh, I felt the FSM touching me with his noodly appendage and got saved! rAmen Bow DownFSM Wink Big Grin

Now that's a testimony I'd like to hear more about.

What were you expecting GC? It is an atheist forum after all.

And thank you for your rather patronizing comments.

@ blood pardon, I'd rather be immoral than immortal, you get more sex(and more interesting sex)

I personally knew what to expect, seems like someone else needs a little thicker skin, I was trying to be a bit humorous not patronizing, sorry you didn't see it that way.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Sure, I've made an outline of the thing here: http://atheistforums.org/thread-3945.html

One has to realise, help isn't coming from god or gods, we have to help ourselves and perhaps with the healthy help of other fellow humans.
