Excavation can pay pretty well. Get in with a high-end landscaping company and you can make bank. As for your last therapist, that's weird. Mine left to work at a children's hospital. I'm pretty sure my new one's a pothead, so I have that going for me.

Excavating, is worth it. The operators at my company get payed pretty well, usually hired from within, after being with the company for 5 years. I know the Operating Engineers make even better money, but most of them come from the Labors Union after a certain amount of time. Getting a position might be tricky (unless connections) but well worth it.

I consider it a good experience for the self to believe it isn't insane. Believing you're out of line and crazy is the first step to the paranoia that'll take you out of bounds and psychotic. Bad for self image, bad for emotional health, terrible for social awkwardness.

Personally I think believing I'm sane is the first step to my losing perspective and my touch on reality.

It's when I think I'm sane and everyone else is crazy that things really start to go to my head.

I've been VERY psychotic in the past (to the point of literally believing I was invincible and could move car traffic with my mind, and that I was simulatenously Jesus, Satan an alien and the grim reaper all at once. And that the radio was talking to me. And that there was a bomb in the hospital that I was in because I was psychotic. I was on that acute ward for 8 weeks, anyways.)----------and believe me... I believed I was sane and everyone else was deluded to think I wasn't superhuman.

Let's also say that having no sleep for over 70 hours is a bad thing for the mind.
