I don't know, I think this is a no win decision. If people keep wearing caps and having their signs up, they are accused of gloating or not letting it go. If they take them down then the candidate is losing support. You hear one or the other after every single election.

My heart does not bleed for asshole Trump or the GOP, now as far as their voters, I am not as inhumane as to want the legislation they proposed that would not only kick democrats off health care, but would have put even GOP voters in the ER or dead as well. 

The GOP only has one goal, to find ways to rob the middle class and poor by gutting everything to pay for tax breaks for the rich, that ends up in dept we pay for later. Americans are being used as a giant ATM for the rich.

It is because text is harder to read intent. Emotocons help too. I do run into crackpots all over the net and do have disagreements with atheists here too, sometimes it is hard to tell if someone is being serious or not. It is easier to catch intent in voice listening to someone than it is text sometimes.
