Focus on what the relationship between the words that make your post abide by Rule #3 is. emjay was on the right track by calculating letter value.

I looked into the words in some significant depth but didn't really find anything. In appears as though vowels are fungible, so I focused on the consonants. I tried to find relationships in their position in the alphabet, location on the keyboard, etc but didn't really come up with anything.

if so though, then the numbering system would be important... mine was with a=1 but if it was based on ASCII a (or A can't remember which) would be 65... which would make a big difference to the sums. So somehow I doubt it is that.
