Astral projection
Do you believe in astral projection ?
To be honest, I tried to do astral projection but I failed. I heard that some people can do it. What's your opinion about this ?

It's made up?
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Do I get to take the mushrooms or LSD with my attempt?

Even then it would only be fantasy. So, I'm a non believer.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I don't believe too but I think that metaphysical part is not sufficiently investigated.

What metaphysical part?

Could you explain and expand please.

RE: Astral projection
The metaphysican has been overly investigated. The government's of both the US and the Soviet Union spent millions on this bullshit (amongs all kinds of other mental power bullshit) during the cold war. If there was anything to it, the CIA would be made up almost exclusively of people who could do it. They aren't. Case closed.

Metaphysical, supernatural, mystic, spiritual... it's all the same. Tons of bullshit, no evidence whatsoever

To paraphrase RT Carroll, the main bulwark for astral projection is in the form of anecdotes from people who, rather than being out of their bodies, were much more likely to have been out of their minds.

Bos, I've long offered the Carl Sagan test for this one (so far, no takers):  I have placed a copy of a well-known book here on my desk.  The title of the book is clearly printed on the cover.  Astral projecters are invited to zip round here, read the title, return to their bodies and tell me the title of the book.

How, exactly, would one investigate metaphysics?

I'm not asking this question beacuse of Dr. Strange. I found out for astral projection a few years ago and like I said I tried that but I failed.

For example they can make an experiment about astral projection to several people.
