My main reason coming is to refute evolution.
Refute it how? It already exists... How do you refute something that's confirmed to exist? You might as well take on the challenge of refuting the Sun. At least you can then, argue it doesn't exist...

Also, welcome to the forums.
I like the way you think!

Evolution isn't something that exists but a theory to explain why everything exists. Most people seem to believe it but that doesn't prove it is true. Have you ever tried to examine the scientific evidence against it? If not perhaps you should check out these sites:

His invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Theo - posting several piles of shit from creationist lunatics does nothing except cast doubt on your intelligence....which can't take many more hits.

I can't help but wonder if this was all posted just to get a reaction, not because there's any healthy discussion going on.

These clowns quickly realize they are in over their heads, Summer. When dealing with other creationist assholes what they produce as "evidence" is good enough as they are preaching to the choir. Once outside of that little comfort zone they are assaulted like altar boys at a priest convention.

Are you sure that you are talking about evolution and not religions? We dont believe in evolution, evidences show us that it is true. And don't expect me to believe a website called "answers in genesis" has scientific evidence against evolution.

They were also poorly designed sites as a designer and as the person I am, I- well, judge books by their cover. I wouldn't stick around a site that was terribly designed on accident.
I sadly, think that's all I have to add.

Oh, no doubt! But I meant mostly that the way the thread is originally worded and the lack of "give and take" as there would be from anyone TRULY seeking debate just made me wonder if it wasn't put up just to yank a few people's chains and see if anger or insult would ensue. Just a thought.

Some may do that, to be sure, but this clown had his shit all lined up and ready to go. He also posted the same shit on Atheist Forums.com and people there were even less polite. It does look as if he thought his little cut and paste bullshit story was of sufficient merit to impact the discussion.
One of many things he was wrong about.

This article from Theo's funniest websites list.

It's about plate tectonics, apparently you can draw a direct parallel between a cars wheel and a continental plate weighing billions of tons.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.
