Thank you each for the welcome.  

As for labeling myself, I find that covered when I submit that I am a complicated person just like everyone else.  When one is an often conflicting mass of viewpoints experiencing various scenarios of life, it is hard to keep within the lines one has set at an earlier time.  

I think the only label that I would put on myself is "materialist."  Everything else is up for discussion. I am not concerned about the labels others place on my words and actions.

Hope that doesn't make me sound too harsh; I am actually a soft, nurturing type...really.

I think I once tried to join, but something went wrong with email or the human-proving thingie and I didn't complete the membership. I remember some usernames, so I probably read some posts.
