Are we becoming like the Americans?

RE: Are we becoming like the Americans?
Indeed. I'm aware of the action. The event I am unable to attend unfortunately, I would have loved to have been there.
Best regards,

Hey just be happy you don't actually LIVE in America.

Over here, arguing against creationism is basically a crime.
Just like what Richard Dawkins says in The God Delusion- Talking politics is acceptable, but religion is holy and shouldn't be debated.

or it was something like that
Maybe i'll move to the UK, then i can develop a cool accent Smile

RE: Are we becoming like the Americans?
I grew up in the state of Kentucky, and I somehow managed to make it to the age of 29 before I realized that belief in creationism was so pervasive. I had always assumed that it was only a few ignorami here and there who refused to see. Now, I look back in amazement, thinking that so many of the people I grew up with most probably bought into it. I do kind of wish my youth minister or pastor would have tried to refute evolution in front of me when I was younger, it would not have taken me so long to see through the façade that has been constructed around religious institutions.

Maybe you know already, but anyhow, there is a way to stop pulp creationism at your front door. And also sunday the 8th of february in Amsterdam there is an event I am planning to attend.

Well isn't that something, my plane lands in Schiphol on sunday the 8th of Feb in the morning, so I might be able to attend after all. Or not, as I just learned it is sold out. :\
