The Legion of Decency would have them pulled off the air !!
Sometimes when I talk to immigration advocates they wish I could just bypass congress and change the law myself, but that's not how democracy works

But not before millions of people stared in stupefied, horrified fascination at the results of the inevitable Google searches.

Huh?  I don't get it, are you gonna make Brian take it like a man or not?  (No offense, Brian.  Just a little anal humor.  Hope you can take a poke.)

All kidding aside, I do hate "take it like a man". I might be intellectually brave, but I am a physical wimp, and would have no problem with a tough female, say a cop or firefighter or female military saving my ass. I know you meant that as a joke, but to me, that is a long term meme that simply doesn't reflect the physical or emotional abilities and or limitations of the individual of either sex.

Evolution proves there are both tough females and males and more sensitive males and females. How about "Take it like Betty White"?

IIts the trickle down effect. You'll be seeing a LOT of personalities hit the streets. ESPN just dumped 300 last fall and 100 this month! Although that has something to do with their inability to keep it up in the free market. I'm sure some chauvenists were preemptively dumped too though.

Riger Ailes over at Fox News pretty much gave free reign to assholes like O'Reilly for the last 30 years, to do as they want. Because he was getting what he wanted. It's the environment he created, really.
He even had a "Black Room" where he kept a staff of personal investugators, lawyers, and attack columnists who targeted competition news anchors and even those in  his work place! Nothing happeked, unless Ailes knew about it. Until it all came crashing down, as they tend to do.

Here's a STUNNING Glenn Beck rape skit, that shows just how twisted they are, over at FOX.
Aside from having some guy jump in with a sign that reads RAPE mid skit scenario, the girl is actually a guy dressed up who stands there twisting his wig hair and giggling "OK!"

Its mind baffling. 2min 30 seconds in

It's sad when Glenn Beck commentates on anything, but even far worse when he chalks his colleagues' scandals to simply "boys will be boys because we are boys, someone help em, there's definitely not a systematic sexist theme at FOX news!!"

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as punishment > crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Interested in making the world a better place, Atlas?  Don't treat it as an all-or-nothing deal; just do something.  Anything.  It's better and easier to relieve suffering when and how you can, rather than waiting for utopia to just pop out of nowhere or waiting for a god to exact justice after we're dead.
