The first 2 LinkedIn contacts I had seemed innocuous enough, just something I wasn't interested in doing. And for quite a while I had very very occasional requests. For some reason this year it has really picked up, and the contacts are (mostly) bizarrely distant acquaintances. People I wouldn't really expect to remember me and/or desire whatever it is LinkedIn does for them.
And it is escalating in creepiness . . .
