Well, if you ask Rhythm, we Eastern European women just have it, apparently.
Here is a cute dog for y'all's pains.
He went with me to the bank and the leasing office during lunch.
"The car ride is super fun, mom, but this weather is shite." (see his judgy face?)

So my friend does ghost tours around Charlotte. Aroura, this lady is fucking fantastic - she makes all her own costumes and is a real inspiration to amateurs like me. This is her new "pirate" colonial costume with Halloween make up for the season. She's really opened up a new world for tourists and residents, as Charlotte didn't keep a lot of its history around.
She had a couple helpers that night too - two of the cutest kids I know and love to shoot:
And on top of everything else, I started upcycling an old pair of heels. I made them "Civil War" themed - the other shoe is Captain America.

Now that's some cuteness I could really use today.

That is most definitely a "judgy face"!
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

I stared at that picture for waaaaay longer than is probably healthy! Hehe.
Out of curiosity from a photographer's perspective, a friend of mine and I worked it out. It's the eyes. If you can get the eyes right in a photograph, it's all over.
That sounds about right the eyes do a lot for us in a photograph. Here is one a friend took of her border collie whispering secrets into my aussie/heeler cross Heidi's ear. I like the intimacy.

Then I forgot to post this one of Heidi for Halloween. This is the difference in the way a blue eye and a brown eye reflect light at twilight .. and/or she really is possessed.

Finally here is another picture of my new little pup Smokey.

You know, I wish I had pictures of all the dogs having led me through life. But if I have one superstition, it's living beings are best stored in living memories and not on a data chip. That's why I don't have any. And why can't I rep your post, whateverist? For some reason your post merges with mine.

Mobile phone? Of course, who isn't?
