They both look mature enough to take my hand and most of my forearm off in one bite. But that's cool that you do that though. Just as long as you don't lose your hands to lion and tiger adolescents. Then you won't be able to type to post here.
Back in the '70s I visited a wild animal park north of Miami. At the gift shop they had a photo op with lion cubs, you sat in a big cane chair and they put a cub in your hand and took the shot. The cub I got was constantly complaining. I asked the staff person about that and she said, "Oh, I haven't fed them yet."
I looked at her for a minute and then said "You handed me a hungry lion?" RE: Member Photos

I did a lion encounter at the Orana Wildlife Park in New Zealand - it was the most fantastic day... got in the back of a pickup in a big cage and drove into the enclosure and watched full grown adult male lions swarming around us waiting to be fed.... I don't know that I've ever posted photos of that trip here... Don't know think I was a member when I made that trip... My lion encounter at the Orana Wildlife Park - not as spectacular as being right next to one with no cage between, but still maybe the single most incredible and unforgettable moments of my life: We also go to hand-feed their giraffes, Were in time to see their cheetah feeding, Saw their Bengal Tiger, And their other little critters And in the process of looking for these pictures, I found this little gem of me, my parents and my eldest sister:
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
