Thought I would throw out an ancient picture of me and my Golden Retriever Josh.  Taken in 1976.  I didn't have much but I had my books and my dog...and at this time, stitches in my foot - hence the wrap.

Cute! AND JUST LOOK AT THOSE BELL-BOTTOMS!  Hehe I shouldn't laugh too much, though. I bought a stack of Sea-Farer bell-bottom dungaree trousers just before I got out of the Navy.

All the years I have had this picture and I didn't notice the gun till I posted the picture on FB last night.  My niece came right back with, "Is that a gun propped in the corner?".  Hmmm, yeah, it is.  Probably my boyfriend at the time brought it to my apartment since I lived alone.  In this picture I always focused on the eye contact between Josh and me and didn't even notice that I was armed.  

As for the bell bottoms - I am pretty sure I didn't own any pants that weren't bells.  Hell, I don't know if I could have bought pants that didn't have bells...though the pair in the picture was made by a friend of mine.
