My mother-in-law runs a daycare. Free babysitting from a grandmother FTW.

^That's awesome! The cheapest daycare in my area is nearly £300 a week! And they only cater for 9-5 working parents. I work shifts, the ealiest is 06:20-13:20 and the latest is 15:30-22:30. No childcare in London caters for those hours. So surprising, given how common shift work is. So yeah, this is why I have no kids. Lol. I'd literally have to quit my job. That, or let the father get a look in, and that's not gonna happen.

I've been a little preoccupied lately preparing for our yearly garden/studio party which happened this past Sunday. (If anyone is actually close enough to me in Berkeley and you'd like to come some time, let me know.) I was able to show the garden to several new folks in the garden groups I'm in and Lia actually had a tour bus of collectors from Seattle through the day before. Perfect day weatherwise. Here is a picture I took after everyone had left, late in the afternoon. The sun is really too bright for pictures but this one turned out okay.
