The only female tattoo artist I went to wore a black tank top and pants. Pretty run of the mill. I guess that's why Cam stuck out in my mind. Plus, I was in his shop a lot with friends.

Yeah, the chick who did the ankh on my arm dressed about that way. My favorite tattoo artist was a biker named Dan. He had way too much talent and way too little motivation. Disappeared after a year or so at the shop I used to go to. Great guy.

Ha, the first guy who ever tattooed me left his shop in about a week. I still have yet to finish that tattoo (I kind of like it the way it is.). His name was Jeff Burton. I'm going to kick him for disappearing. I think tattoo artists can be like that. Some of them are just dazed.

Probably so. Some of them really are incredibly talented, and I think for some there is a sense of not having measured up in the arts.
