There's some serious bugs there yo! One ordinary night in fall, having had the window (with screen) open for the beautiful fresh cool air, I had a horrifying encounter with a wolf spider the size of my palm! Unfortunately as horrifying as it was for me, I was confused yet too adrenaline ridden to notice at the time, that this spider was literally terrified of me. Of ME! Well I did kill it. But it was the process of me chasing it around my room with a shoe, and then us having a shift standoff where if I moved right it moved left, tentatively, and at some point it was so unsure which way to go it seemed frozen in place. And so I killed her. And then I felt guilt! Who feels guilt after killing a spider? Me, that's who. The sentience of the spider is what got me. Usually I preceive that spiders can't see me as I'm about to kill them because I'm so big and they're so small I'm in another plane of vision to them, just part of the spider cosmos. This giant spider though ruined that for me. And looking back at how scared she was I got very sad about killing her ! I still do. Even though I fucking hate spiders. : Hey MH the last pic of the OP is the world's most aggressive spider, unless I'm mistaken. They stand up on their hind legs and hiss too! I know cuz I was watching a show about Australia's Deadly and watched one dedicated to these crazy little f*ckrs. Funny story though, the night I was watching that special.. was special. We were having an insane summer for insects and I went out to smoke some dosha in the garage when I noticed a wolf spider enter stage left. I had just hit my doob when it showed up. About the size of a small puppy, I flipped out and headed for the door. It got closer to the door and almost put itself between me and the door when it stood up on hind legs and hissed just like the Aussie killers and I almost feinted! Instead I ran head first into the door and hurt my noggin as I screamed bloody murder. I think it followed me in because I kept seeing moving shadows as I finished the spider special and a week later I found a very big dead wolf spider to the back side behind my bed! Yay I hate.. spiders. Look up the Viniagaroo. It's a spider/Scorpion hybrid that I've seen in New Mexico aNd Kansas! If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Yeah wth is up with a wolf spider rearing up and hissing???
They get REALLY big where I live because we are in a community of 5 acre plots. Deer hang out fearlessly.. so do coyotes. Colorado foothills with a nice view of the Rockies! Under the wooden stairs that go from the garage to back yard every summer a wolf spider takes up residence and it's so big the chiweenie dog won't go up the stairs! Bwahahahaaa! I don't blame her. I went walking through the doorway and that giant thing pulled a "BOO!" From the top of the doorway, right in my face!

Recently a fellow nurse/coworker was bitten on the upper arm by a Brown Recluse. The debridements left her with a cavity on her arm about 1 inch in diameter x 0.5 inch in depth. In layman's terms a "chunk". She could not return to work for about 2 months due to the risk of introducing the microbes we live with in the health care profession. 2 months without pay. The wound needed to be packed daily with wet to dry dressings. She, like other nurses, could not afford good health insurance. So, she could not afford a home health nurse to appear daily to her home. So, she showed up daily to our place of employment and one of us- her fellow nursetrons - took care of the wound. When a wound like that heals it does not heal with normal layers of tissue. It heals by filling with granulation tissue and becomes a scar. Now she has a 1 inch in diameter x 0.5 inch deep scar on her upper arm. A U.S. spider bite!
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

If you live in the US, it was probably a black widow. One of my younger brothers went to the hospital as a kid (ca 15) and concomitant with the other symptoms was a serious swelling of his glans meatus. The nurse told my mother that that was a symptom of a black widow bite. Also, we had some serious winds here in California, about 8 years ago. Some spiders with a body about the size of my thumb (2.25" X 1"), and a large leg span showed up. Kind of a golden color, is all I can tell you. I was walking through the side yard, and felt the (non-sticky) web rub my arm like a violin string. I went and got a broom to throw at it; it fell to the ground (from the eave of the house, about 15 feet), and started to run. I had to hit it with that broom several times before it stopped moving. What a monster. For all of that, it probably wasn't poisonous to humans. Scared TF out of me, though.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
Yeah those hobo spiders are gnarly f*ers. My cousin got bitten on fourth of July one year, on her upper thigh. Next day and am ER visit later she lost several inches of tissue amd muscle! They had to cut it out. Then? Next 4th of July she goes to the same place, and gets bitten IN THE SAME PLACE! Dumb hobos.
Me I'm more freaked out from the wolf spiders, and the black widows. Never come across a hobo (I don't think).
