Weather.com homepage trolls Trump as he pulls out of Paris climate accord

The forecast? Cloudy with a chance of shade.

Within moments of President Donald Trump's announcement that the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate agreement, the usually apolitical weather service site clapped back at the president through their top stories homepage module.

Underneath a large image announcing Trump's decision, the next few headlines spell out a message about the ongoing worldwide effects of climate change.



"So, what happens to Earth now?" the first headline reads. "Still don't care? Proof you should ... and more proof ... and even more proof ... or the imminent collapse of a key ice shelf ... or Antarctica turning green ... or California's coast disappearing into the sea ..." the rest of the headlines read when strung together.

Several people on Twitter noticed that the weather forecasting site had suddenly become troller-in-chief.

Back in the real world, yes, life eventually flourished when the earth got hotter, but those were mostly not the same life that flourished before the earth got hotter.   Most of those that flourished before the earth got hotter, you know, died out in mass extinction when the earth got hotter.

Christians like you flourished before the earth got hotter, and the earth is getting hotter.  Ready to meet your maker?  I bet in 10-30 million years - how long it typically took for the biosphere to recover from getting much hotter and start flourishing again - the newly heat adopted flourishing life would not contain any christians.

Go take a look at a population map of the world, note the population of low-lying coastal areas, and realize those areas are going to be under water in the future. Humanity will survive but it will end up being a refugee crisis the world has never seen.

Life surviving isn't the fucking issue. Climate change will HURT humans and our food sources and if we are lucky it will only knock us back to the stone age, but far more likely, if we let it go, the scramble for resources will cause more conflict and a possible nuclear war.

The science is in, we cannot keep pumping out green house gasses at the rate we are. What we are doing is no different than not flushing your toilet. Our planet cannot absorb that at the rate we are pumping it out. We are out pacing what the planet does naturally.

This is what idiots like him do not understand. They stupidly take "that is not true" as some call to a fascist state, when all we are saying is "PULL YOUR FUCKING HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS"

Humans in antiquity worldwide believed all sorts of nonsense, and back then it was understandable. But today, when science tells you you cant keep doing something, it isn't out of hate, but out of the pragmatism of surviving.

Same with climate scientists, they are NOT saying ban the private sector, or even ban religion, just the fact that humans cannot continue doing what we are doing, we have to do business differently.

I think that the rights response to climate change, specifically vis-a-vis the issue of whatever mass movement it incurs, exposes the lie that these bigoted policies of theirs have anything to do with any actual refugee or immigrant problem or crisis.

They say we should do horrible things in order to stop x...but when you show them how climate change will make x seem like a minor blip in tourists to disney one day, they're all like;
