It's not even an "issue" really.
1. Women are just as embarrassed to breastfeed without any cover in public.

I think there was a generation or 2 of American kids bottle fed exclusively.

never inquired about me, but my younger sibs were 100% bottle fed. I recall the small electric bottle sterilizer on the kitchen counter we had. Once in a while a bottle would explode in it.

Probably still in the house somewhere . . . .
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

No, it was some cheap death trap of a thing commonly sold in the 50s/60s.

No GFI, no 3 prong cord, no thermostat, just a turquoise plastic base, a frayed power cord, and a heating element.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

IANMTU, had a younger sibling insist on standing on the front seat of the car next to driver when ever we went somewhere. Found a strap that went around the back of the bench seat of the car, and a belt went around the toddler, and clipped to the belt on the seat.

Kid could stand on seat and not be thrown through windshields at impact speeds up to 8 miles an hour !!

IANMTU, we had one and used it. Didn't have a sissy infant car seat, shit those weren't invented yet, or cost 10X what the strap thing went for.
