Sorry if this was already mentioned on this thread, but I remember a TV series from the 80s that I liked called "Sledge Hammer!" that was a parody of another TV series called "Hunter". In both cases they both had main characters who were sort of like a Dirty Harry character.

I've seen reruns of "Hunter" pop up relatively recently, but "Sledge Hammer!" seems to have totally vanished.

I also remember another TV show from the 80s that I don't think has been a rerun called "Moonlighting". It had Bruce Willis, Cybill Shepherd, and the guy who played Booger on Revenge of the Nerds.

Rewatching 'The Wild Wild West' on Prime. Not only does it kinda sorta hold up, but I'm now convinced that Robert Conrad was the best Bond.

Decided to renew my PBS donation so I can watch Call the Midwife and a few other shows.

I had Netflix a long, long time ago but got bored with it when I ran out of documentaries to watch. I've been thinking all this time that it would be a waste to resubscribe, but that was rather narrow thinking. My viewing habits and their offerings are radically different now. I'm grooving on the idea of watching Korean dramas.

Watched the Christmas episode of Call the Midwife yesterday. They moved into the age of fertility treatments which I think would be quite something to wrap your head around when the cast has been aiding in the births of large, very poor, families for so long.

I like how the show introduces the new medical changes of the day.

The Bear. People making junk food. A chef from the spheres of fancy restaurants is doing high science to make tasty sandwiches - dude, it's sandwiches. Take two bread slices, put something greasy between them and people will eat it.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
