The Official Television Thread
RE: Otter's Official Television Thread
As a huge fan, I'm glad of Jim Carrey's return to the screen in Kidding.

Watched the first episode, and I'm hooked.

Finally decided to check out Rick and Morty

I only watched one episode, but I wasn't overly impressed with Rick and Morty. I think my funny bone is getting older along with the rest of me, I just don't find much comedy television very funny.

Yay, season two of Room 104.

Wondering why I've never heard of The Last Ship.

Quote:The crew of a naval destroyer is forced to confront the reality of a new existence when a pandemic kills off most of the earth's population.

Might have to watch it.

This season's messages in Doctor Who are groundbreaking. I've never cried so much.

Now back to another David Attenborough (well, technically a Jamie Lee Curtis, since she's narrating this) documentary, Planet Earth I. I think it's safe to say that the Grasshopper family is now in my "burn it with fire" category. Fortunately, now I'm in a place where no locusts can survive.

Also, at one point while narrating the penguin mating ritual and saying the female "tears up" (pronounced TAIRS, like ripping, when I think she meant TEERS) if she likes a certain male's song. Sorry, Kit, but Roy and Silo are Chinstrap penguins, not emperors, and they're in captivity and I can't find any examples of gay penguins being observed in the wild, except for a single colony of Adelies on Cape Adare,

Now, I'm watching the second season of American Crime Story, the one about Gianni Versace's murder by Andrew Cunanan. And I'm really not liking it. The whole idea of having every episode be in reverse chronological order is just a stupid way to go about it (unless there's some extreme twist at the end beginning, and it doesn't look like there is). And while I'm not exactly obsessed with this one the way I am with other true crime stories, it looks like they're really taking serious liberties the way they weren't with OJ. Also, Penelope Cruz' Italian accent sounds like dogshit. I know Donatella's accent is pretty thick IRL, but it's virtually impossible to understand her.
