Malcolm Bright, one of the best criminal psychologists around, uses his twisted genius to help the NYPD solve crimes.

First of all, the show has Lou Diamond Phillips, who may be getting up there in age but he still looks like a sexy daddy in this show.

The most important character, of course, is Mr. Bright who is being played by the ever handsome Tom Payne. Mr. Bright is the perfect mix of genius and off-kilter humor from a seriously warped psychological mind that simply reeks of sexy. I've always been attracted to the mentally damaged types.

(And, omg, looking at what he's been in, he played "Jesus" on The Walking Dead - seriously, I didn't even recognize him. Honestly, I just don't see the "Jesus" character when I watch him in this role. Bravo!)

This show is brilliant and an absolute must-see.

Psycho Joe's found a new victim ladylove to stalk and obsess over, and this time he's going to make it work! He's turned over a new leaf in L.A. and is committed to being a better man and killing and imprisoning as few people as possible in order be the type of man his sweetheart deserves.

I loved You! It got a little silly in season 2, but I'm so excited that they're bringing it back for a season 3. The guy that plays Joe is perfect for that role.

Sabrina finally claims the throne of Hell by birthright, just so she can make time and kissey-face with her honey-boo-boo.
The demonic hordes take issue, of course. Chick can't even drag souls to Hell right, when she bothers to drag them at all. She's a joke!

Also starring: More Dorian Gray and an assortment of pictures, villainous old-school Pagans and blood rites, time travel, a thoroughly wack Intro to Haitian Vodou featuring the worst accent ever, and the marine biology of the Cthulhu-verse.

Finally saw the first season of You

I have to admit, I now understand the appeal. I see it as a modern take on Dexter, with an engaging spin on romance and love.

Yeah, you already knew I'm not normal.

Watching Season 4 of The Venture Brothers on Hulu. I'm on Episode 4, and we see Dragoon and Red Mantle getting sewn together and we learn that they were The Big Bopper and Buddy Holly, respectively. Also, I've noticed something odd about the way Brock holds people at knifepoint.



I don't have much real-world experience in this area, but are you supposed to hold people with the sharp edge of the knife pointing away from your victim?

Also, I recently got a collection of the complete scripts of Father Ted at an antique store (and inspired by this, I also have a volume of Blackadder scripts on the way from Britain). It's interesting to see how things change from the writing stage to the final airing. Sometimes, it's interesting (like how they decided to keep Mrs. Doyle's first name a secret despite casually inserting it in dialogue in an early draft of "Competition Time"), and sometimes... well, it turns out Father Jack was banished to Craggy Island after he tried to disguise himself as a nun to get into a girl's school. Knowing that, about 23 years after the episode was made, Graham Linehan decided to squander all the good will he made from creating three of the greatest sitcoms of all time by becoming a vocal and militant transphobe... Thank Jah that he decided against putting it in.

Also, apparently this scene from the last episode is what killed Dermot Morgan:



Apparently, Father Kevin kept flubbing his lines, and so Dermot had to keep doing the dance. Unfortunately, he was having chest pains and the director insisted on having him complete the scene before he could have it checked out. If things went differently, Dermot could have survived. Or he could have still died and left the episode unfinished.
