The Official Television Thread
RE: Otter's Official Television Thread
Just finished ‘Enterprise’, and I don’t understand what all the hate was about. Apart from that dreadful theme song and a laughable series finale, I thought it was pretty damned good. It seemed to pretty smoothly combine the monster-of-the-week motif of TOS with the political story arcs of DS9. Not perfect, but much better that people give it credit for.

Not to mention that I could watch T’pol apply that decontamination gel all. day. long. Woof.

I put off watching it, based mostly on the word of people I thought I could trust.

Why Are You Like This? Netflix
Quote:Best friends Penny and Mia set out to right all that's wrong with the world, blissfully ignorant of how many people they torment along the way.

Wokeness to the extreme. It's hilar.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is making a comeback in new series

Quote:Last year, fans of the show were disappointed to learn that ‘part four’ would be the series’ last.

The news spawned a petition on change.org asking Netflix to renew the show for another season.

The story is set to pick up after the jaw-dropping series finale that featured

The second season of Outer Banks is available on Netflix

The third season of Charmed is available on Netflix
I think I'll start with this one. Even with the recap, I don't remember a lot of what happened last season. Oh, well.

Did you ever watch Sons of Anarchy? I'm watching Animal Kingdom right now on Amazon(4 seasons are free) and it has a similar vibe. A criminal family trying to do jobs and surf. The men in it are gorgeous.

Except for Pope. Pope gives you "redhead serial killer" vibes right off the bat. But he stops shaving a little bit in season two and I think it changes his features enough that even his occasional blank stares are tolerable.

The last season saw the show finally coming into its own.

Didn't really like the first couple of seasons.

But then, I"ll admit, openly, that I'm biased against "retro-trek".

There was so much open that could be explored after the end of DS9 and the Dominion War.

But, no, they had to go a century before Kirk.

Not overly fond of Discovery season one, either, though season 2, with Captain Pike of the Enterprise was pretty good.

The actor who played Pike perfected the role.

Even though Madeleine Mantock is amicably leaving the show of Charmed, it seems a little too convenient to me that this show is following the same pattern of the original show where the eldest charmed sister left after season three to bring in a new sister the next season.

Never saw either show.

Sons of Anarchy just doesn't interest me.

Animal Kingdom I'd probably watch for Scott Speedman, because he's pretty hot.
