RE: Otter's Official Television Thread
I could only make it short ways into the first episode of Kevin (Probably) Saves The World before I realized the religious content is too high for my liking.

Quote:Kevin, a down-on-his-luck man, is tasked by God with a mission to save the world.

When he touched a meteorite that scientists could not explain as having entered our atmosphere, Kevin is confronted with a celestial being (an angel) who talks entirely too much about god.

Maybe the show will keep religious viewers, but I am not going to watch it.

Wouldn't it be awesome (and ballsy) if someone made a show with a similar premise where, given how the devil doesn't exactly come across as the real bad guy in the bible, he's the one that guides someone to save the world or something?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

Eh, I don't really watch TV so I wouldn't know.

Very happy about the new season of Criminal Minds. I hope this show lasts forever and ever.

I wasn't into it where I watched it religiously, but I did catch an episode when I could.

I am talking about the return of Will & Grace.

There are two episodes available right now, eleven years after the show "ended".

Time to watch to see if I want to add it to my viewing list.

So, only seven minutes into the return of the show, I can immediately tell that the characters are exactly the same and that means I love it. It's making me laugh, can't go wrong there.

One thing I hate about HBO and SHOWTIME is that one has to wait an entire year between seasons. It's not like Netflix, which will give you the entire season all at once to binge watch, which is why I LOVE Netflix. No, HBO and SHOWTIME will make you wait an entire year between seasons and then only show on episode per week. It's why I usually forget about their shows.

However, I digress.

Finally, the second season of Vice Principals has returned, though I didn't know about it until last night even though the premiere was weeks ago.

I am not familiar with the writer, but he wrote science fiction. His works have been turned into a television show.

Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams

I quite enjoyed the first episode. I shall keep watching.
