I personally don't think that it neceserally influences you, but it may, just may be factor.
Those descriptions and written in very general and usually complimentary terms. That makes the reader both liable to favorable interpretation, and happy to learn that they're not such a jackass after all.

And I didn't say that ALL people are influenced by the year period.
It sounds to me like you're not, then, saying anything at all ... kinda like astrology, come to think of it.
