Political ideology
Which ideology is better?
Capitalism and human rights.
Communism and non-exclusion of working people.
Nazism and humanism towards the Germans.
What is the difference, to be under the power of the dollar, the power of Germany or the authority of the CPSU Central Committee?
It seems to me no.

RE: Political ideology
Er...Nazism didn't include "humanism towards the Germans." Tons of Jews were Germans. And humanism is incompatible with Nazism to begin with.

EDIT: Er..or are you trying to set up each one of your "ands" as a dichotomy? Because they still don't work.

Your dichotomies are way to simplistic

I currently lean strongly towards human rights, a strong social safety net, elimination of institutional racism, a justice system that focuses on rehabilitation, and an economy that allows capitalism while forbidding oligarchy. I think we can have a good balance of protections, rights, and freedoms that is much better than, say, what the USA currently has.

Well perhaps it's not the -ism but the fact that people don't obey the rules. I mean communism works on paper but as it goes few people take most of the money, live in palaces and sometimes starve the population.
Or capitalism could work but again you have monopoly, centralism (why can't workers own the plant they work in?) bribes, lobbying.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

A lot of -ism's sound good on paper but then you toss humans into the mix and everything goes to shit.
