Ice

Ice, ice, baby!

Oh, a shirtless, sweaty, bloody, sexy man. Naughty

I think I recall this one being about an organism recovered from the arctic ice, an organism that burrows into the brain and changes people.

And there was nothing else to say about this episode. Good episode, no doubt, but nothing random to state.

OMG that's a hilarious episode.

Space

Outer space or the area that is available for occupation?

Oooo, a geologically sculpted face on Mars.

Fox with his sunflower seeds again.

Space possession.

So what was the payload that was delivered?

Fallen Angel

Oh, a religious episode?

I'm thinking this is the episode where people's eyes are burned out of their sockets.

Nope on both counts. Rather, a fallen unidentified flying object.

Fox going solo.

There's Dana.....to the rescue.

Fox wearing glasses.

Everyone else blasted by the invisible alien gets burned, but not Fox. He merely gets thrown.

Of course Dana is outside while Fox witnesses the paranormal inside the building.

The first of many hearings involving Fox and the X-Files.

I plan on using this thread as a place for me to mention/discuss certain aspects regarding the series as I watch each episode, sort of a supernatural random thoughts thread.

To start:
Fox wears glasses in the beginning when we first see Dana introduce herself to him, though I do not recall him wearing glasses throughout the series.

Fox's love for sunflower seeds is something else they only briefly touched upon, something they did not quite stick with I believe.

Mulder's love of sunflower seeds went with him throughout the entire series.

Best episode of the series, IMO.

Eve

The title alone does not remind me of about what this episode is.

Blood loss, jugular puncture wounds, but no mention of vampires. Rather, aliens playing doctor is Fox's explanation.

Now an in vitro organization that explains identical girls birthed by two different women three thousand miles apart.

Still no mention of Eve, however.

Fox pulling sunflower seeds from his coat pocket for snacking while speaking with his government informant during a midnight stroll.

Eve, the name given to girls who were part of an earlier eugenics experiment. There were Adams as well, but the show is only focusing on the female part of the experiments.

The girls murdered their fathers; Eve 7 thought she had eradicated the flaws from the experiment that had created her and her "siblings", but rather the psychosis has been accelerated in the young girls.

The girls killed Eve 7.

The girls tried to poison Fox and Dana.

There's Eve 8 to rescue the psycho girls from lockup.

Fire

I am thinking this is the immolation episode.

I know it seems like that male servant did it supernaturally with his mind, but if I remember correctly the process deals more with science.

It has something to do with the paint the caretaker uses.

A young kid, probably between the age of six and eight, has braces. I doubt I have ever seen anyone that young with braces.

Trying to make kids smoke cigarettes, bad man.

Fax machines, do we still have them?

Seriously, first Fox has a phobia of fire and now he is attempting to put out multiple points of intense fire with a towel? Get yourself and the others out of there, idiot.

More pretty fire.

Maniacally laughing while going up in flames; that takes a special kind of crazy.
