Also, Connor is a smart guy. I mean, I remember seeing his fights when people barely even knew who he was.. He went from there to where he is right now - a worldwide known name in a very short amount of time..that's gotta count for something..

It's also important to remember that boxing's only undefeated heavyweight champ was a shit boxer.  Marciano had poor balance, almost non-existent footwork, and lousy defensive skills.  He also had devastating punches and a granite jaw (an almost certainly apocryphal story has it that when Archie Moore's trainer told him to keep hitting Marciano, Moore replied, 'I am hitting him - it don't help!').

The smart money's on Mayweather, but anything can happen.

In my humble opinion, Jones is the better fighter. Cormier is a badass contender, but Jones is the better fighter. I've been hearing a lot of talk about Jones' bad habits. When it comes to the actual fight, what matters is who is better in fighting, not who has a clean DUI record. Jones has been off the grid for a bit, I get that. That could hurt him. He has to prove he's still the better fighter. Cormier is no slouch. But Jones can make a comeback, and it will be a fun to watch fight because of him. If I have to say who I hope will win, Jones. I like a good redemption story. If I must say who will win, well. If consistency proves anything, Cormier. But I think Jones can prove that he's back with everything and beat DC's ass. We'll see.

For sure. I was pretty disappointed at the cancellation of the Nunes vs Shevchenko fight a few weeks ago. I was in fucking Las Vegas for that purpose and boom. Out. But there were still some good fights. It was a bloody heaven. I ended up pretty darn satisfied and walked out powered up. You should start MMA threads when there's a fight cooking. We can have fun up in there.
