Lol this actually reminded me of something. Back when mma was marketed as a "no rules just fight" it had shit popularity among the public sphere. So they rebranded the whole thing. You know, build the thing from the ground up and there were many talks about legalizing mma. I remember someone saying something along the lines of "mma is not as brute as you think. It's two jacked up dudes rolling on the floor dominating each other. It's basically gay porn" cracked me up lol

For sure. I was pretty disappointed at the cancellation of the Nunes vs Shevchenko fight a few weeks ago. I was in fucking Las Vegas for that purpose and boom. Out.

I always wanted to head to Vegas to watch a fight!!! The canceling thing really is annoying. I remember watching a whole(boring) event just for the main event (I don't remember who vs who it was but it was supposed to be a hyped up fight) but then they do a whole different fight all the while STILL showing the (canceled) fight's ad. Pissed me off to no ends but tis mma gazillion things go wrong

Who's gonna win DC or Jones?

That's a better fight. I go for Jon Bones Jones. But like mentioned prior, he's been out of MMA for a while so...... who knows now. I would love to see Jones destroy DC and shut him up.

As for Mayweather and Connor. I go for Mayweather but i have a feeling that Connor will pull the upset. I like both fighters though.

If he wins I'll be disappointed at Floyd if Floyd wins I'll be disappointed at Connor.

You honesly think a mediocre club-level amateur level boxer can beat the best defensive proponent of the sport of all time?

McGregor's only realistic chance of victory is if a previously undiscovered congenital heart defect fells Mayweather moments before entering the ring.

Even the best defensive boxer get hit the question that keeps recurring in my mind is what if it's a bomb that actually lands at least once. McGregor isn't the hardest puncher but he is probably up there. He's also left handed, I mean, logically speaking Floyd wins this easy peesy but I'll never write McGregor off completely. Plus there's the factor of this guy possibly being the hungriest and in his prime. Who knows? Only time will tell.. In a fight anything can happen..

My thought is that Floyd Mayweather is a fantastic boxer-- against boxers.  But what's he gonna do when he has a crazy McGregor changing stances all the time, bum-rushing him just for the fun of it, and doing all kinds of crazy shit?  You think McGregor is going to just stand and box like a gentleman?  Yeah, right.

I think it's going to be a lot like this guy.  McGregor even talks a lot like he does, because he's relying on pure talent and tricks, not so much on solid boxing technique:

McGregor has a 0.1% chance of winning. I'd say he has a 0% chance, but you have to account for things like Floyd getting into a car crash on the way or having a brain aneurysm out of nowhere.
