It'll be two years on the 9th for me. I also have learned to hate it as well. The impact on my health has been phenomenal.

It's been 8 years and 3 days quit for me. I still love cigarettes, I just know it's something that I cannot afford to do.

I love hearing positive and supportive stories like this. Believe me it helps. I have tried quitting two other times since joining the forums. And I would quietly go back to smoking. Not this time. I don't know why and I can't put my finger on it, but this time it just feels different. I have zero cravings and zero desire to go back to smoking. And it feels great.

Shell - in five years, my goal is to revisit this thread and say that I am enjoying my 5 year anniversary of quitting smoking Smile
