Just so you know, I am in that cone, in southeastern NC, and unless things change we will get tons of water from a tropical storm minimum, and we will have mass flooding in my area. 

I saw what Mathew did to my area. My neighborhood was lucky, but it is different every time and we might not be so lucky.

No point in fleeing right now too early. If it ends up getting shredded and just a tropical storm, that is more easy to handle. NC is relatively flat till you get to the center of the state, so even places like Charlotte and Raeigh/Durham could get flooded too.
